Display stands: store it properly

The PSVR2 has a distinctive halo band that makes it awkward to set down flat. Leaving it on the desk risks pressure on the lens housing. A stand designed for the headset's shape keeps it upright, protects the lenses from direct light, and gives the Sense controllers somewhere to rest. The weighted base stops the whole thing from tipping during controller removal.

Charging stations: no more USB hunting

The PSVR2 Sense controllers charge via USB-C, but the PlayStation 5 only has two USB ports on the front, both usually occupied. A dedicated charging station docks both Sense controllers simultaneously via built-in USB-C pins, no cables required. LED indicators show charge status at a glance. Lens kits: protect the optics

The PSVR2 uses OLED panels behind Fresnel lenses. Smudges reduce contrast noticeably on OLED displays. Cleaning with the wrong cloth is the most common source of micro-scratches on these lenses. A proper lens kit includes a microfiber cloth sized for the lens housing, a cleaning solution safe for Fresnel coatings, and a dust blower for clearing debris before wiping.

Store the PSVR2 face-down or in the original box when not in use: direct sunlight can permanently fog the Fresnel lenses, and no cleaning kit reverses that.

Silicone skins: sweat and hygiene

The PSVR2's facial interface uses foam padding similar to the Quest 3. It degrades over time and is harder to replace than on most headsets. A silicone cover over the existing padding extends its life and makes cleanup between sessions easy. A full skin set typically includes a face gasket cover and controller grip skins: the Sense controllers have a smooth plastic finish that gets slippery during intense sessions. The whole set wipes clean with a damp cloth.

Comfort straps: longer sessions

The PSVR2's halo band already distributes weight better than most headsets, but extended play still causes fatigue at the contact points. An over-the-top comfort strap keeps the headset stable during fast movement without tightening the halo band to compensate. It solves the specific problem of the headset shifting during games that require quick head turns, like racing sims and sports titles.
